She was born Abt. 1595 in England , and died Aft. 1636 in Salem Massachusetts³. He married (2) Elizabeth --- Abt. 1637 in Salem Massachusetts³. She died Bef. 24 September 1667 in Salem Massachusetts⁴.

Notes for William Jeggles:

William Jeggles died intestate, leaving property valued at 148 Pounds. Essex Quarterly Court records indicate he had at least four children at the time of his death, three who had married in Salem and one, the eldest son who was Master of a Ship and living in England at the time of his father's death.

Notes for Elizabeth ---:

Administration of the estate of Elizabeth Jeggles, assessed at 105 Pounds, was granted on 24 September 1667. Son Thomas was named one of the administrators. The Court record indicates there were five children and divided the estate into six equal shares, with the eldest son being granted a double share. Son William was granted, in addition, his mother's bed, bedstead and apurtenences.

Notes for William Jeggles:

In 1659 William Jeggles was given leave to build a shipyard in Salem "next beyond the causeway, at the end of the town, if he do not incommode the highway, nor hinder cattle from coming to the salt water".

William was said to be "of Virginia " in the record of his death.

He was born 13 October 1607 in Lamerton Tavistock, Devon , England , and died 09 March 1661/62 in Gloucester , Massachusetts¹⁴. She married (2) William Collman 14 November 1662 in Gloucester, Massachusetts. He died 18 April 1680 in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
